If privacy is what you want, it's tough to beat the Feather River Park Resort. These log cabins, built in the early 1900's, have spacious bedrooms (1 or 2), with twin and double beds. The large living room with river-stone fireplace (naturally, firewood is stacked at every cabin) also includes a double "murphy" bed and day couch. Each cabin has its own barbeque. You can stock up on groceries at one of the nearby stores and aside from weekly housekeeping service, you're on your own at "home." For your convenience, the resort also maintains its own laundromat. |
